Whoa the post - single - release crash is real yall haha, after such a build up in one’s heart to finally cross that finish line to where it has been birthed. Fully out there in the world, replete with the high feeling of accomplishment coupled with the physical relaxation from the loosened grip of determination. And now oddly, this piece of ephemera that you’ve spun around a million times isn’t only your’s anymore. It mingles and flirts, making itself comfortable in others’ lives as well.

I look at this first single differently than say last month, where nightly rounds of playing it 10x’s on repeat was commonplace. Testing it for its delivery of raw power, probing for inaccuracies in vibe or shade. Today I regard this 2 minutes and 45 seconds of bursting emotion as something else, a jellyfish-like blob floating undetected everywhere, ready to be activated at a swipe of the thumb. My analysis is over, I can now enjoy it again.
